Catalina’s Hideaway is an eco-aware beachfront space with great music, food and flow. Our luxurious casitas & treehouse are nestled on 2.5 acres of pristine coastline; where the jungle meets the ocean. We are on the way to the popular surf and dive town of Santa Catalina, but also hidden where travellers can immerse themselves in the undisturbed nature of Panama. Our open air restaurant & bar, “Sobremesa”, highlights a farm-to-table philosophy and features an array of cocktails and snacks for your enjoyment at our beachfront lounge or infinity pool. The beaches, surrounding islands, and snorkelling are pretty rad too, if that’s what you’re into.

Our cozy casitas and intimate dorm invite guests to relax, unwind, and connect with the tranquil beauty of the Pacific coast. With a shared kitchen at the heart of the space, there’s a warm, communal vibe where meals and stories are easily shared among guests. Just a short distance from Santa Catalina’s lively surf and dive scene, Casa Manila offers a peaceful haven—a true paradise—for travelers looking to immerse themselves in a welcoming community and the undisturbed charm of Panama’s coastline.

Sleeping on Coiba Island

Since November 1st, 2017, the Ministry of Environment has restricted access to overnight stays on Coiba’s main island and at the ranger station, due to ongoing renovations. While the daily park entrance fees still apply, it is no longer possible to sleep on the island. This regulation affects all dive operators visiting Coiba National Park. However, it is still possible to visit the ranger station and the visitor center during the day (please note that these visits are not usually included in our dive trips). Additionally, some local snorkel tour operators offer multi-day trips with overnight camping on the islands, as an alternative to staying at the ranger station.
